An extraordinary example of natural camouflage, displayed to showcase the intricate underside of its wings.
When closed, the mottled brown colouring, vein-like markings and pointed wing shape of Kallima inachus create an astonishing resemblance to a dried leaf — right down to what appears to be a central leaf vein and stem.
Displayed in a 5 × 7 inch black shadow box frame with white backing.
Please note: Each specimen is a genuine natural specimen and is therefore completely unique. Minor variations, markings or imperfections are part of its individual character.
Carefully prepared and framed by House of Specimens. Scientific identification is included on the reverse of the frame.
Keep out of direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
