Papilio memnon agenor — Great Mormon

A beautifully dark swallowtail belonging to the Great Mormon group, characterised by deep black wings with subtle blue-green iridescence that appears as the light moves across the surface.

Papilio memnon is a large Asian swallowtail known for extraordinary variation between individuals, particularly among females. 

Displayed in a 5 × 7 inch black shadow box frame with white backing.
