Papilio paris — Paris Peacock

A beautifully dark swallowtail distinguished by brilliant turquoise-green patches across the hindwings.

The understated black-green wings create a striking contrast with the intensely coloured markings, producing a specimen that appears almost jewel-like as the light moves across its surface.

Displayed in a 5 × 7 inch black shadow box frame with white backing.

Please note: Each specimen is a genuine natural specimen and is therefore completely unique. Minor variations, markings or imperfections are part of its individual character.

Carefully prepared and framed by House of Specimens. Scientific identification is included on the reverse of the frame.

Keep out of direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
