The Madagascan Bullseye Moth, Antherina suraka, is instantly recognisable by the extraordinary concentric eyespots on its hindwings.

Warm caramel, pink and cream tones give this large silk moth an almost painted appearance, while the dramatic bullseye markings make it one of those specimens that becomes more interesting the longer you look at it.
